Mia Junuzoviç joined the Centre for the Study of European Contract Law (CSECL) as a PhD candidate 1 June 2016.
Mia is conducting research under the supervision of dr. Joasia Luzak and prof. dr. Marco Loos, aimed to develop European guidelines on transparency of online disclosures within the project 'The ABC of Online Disclosure Duties: Towards a More Uniform Assessment of the Transparency of Consumer Information in Europe', funded by the NWO Open Research Area.
Prior to her doctoral research, Mia obtained a Master’s degree in General Law with specialization in European Public Law at the University of Zagreb (2014) and an LL.M. in International and European Law: European Competition Law and Regulation at the University of Amsterdam (2015).
While studying, Mia worked as a research assistant at the University of Zagreb and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. She also carried out research on the role of the European Ombudsman in transparency promotion for the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (ACELG). Besides pursuing her research interests, Mia represented the University of Zagreb at the European Law Moot Court competition and the University of Amsterdam at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition as well as interned at the Zagreb office of the United Nations Refugee Agency.
