Martijn Hesselink invited speaker EP Policy Hub
On Friday 18 September 2015 Prof. Martijn W. Hesselink was invited to speak during the European Parliament's Policy Hub 'Contract law and the Digital Single Market' in Brussels.
This Policy Hub addresses the future of European contract law in the context of the Digital Single Market Strategy, with particular focus on the forthcoming Commission proposals for consumer online sales contracts and for cloud computing contracts. It follows the publication by the Members' Research Service of a new in-depth analysis on Contract law and the Digital Single Market (15 September 2015).
Policy Hubs are informal fora for dialogue and debate among experts within the European Parliament and the EU institutions, as well as the wider think tank and academic communities, on current EU policies and issues. To facilitate broad participation and to encourage open exchanges, the meetings are short and held under the Chatham House rule. Policy Hubs are open to all staff working on the subject, including staff from the political groups and MEPs' Assistants, as well as invited representatives of the think tank community and academia.
